Cix Theatre is part of Cix, a mix of characteristic buildings in the new Utrecht city district of Merwede. Between a city park, a lively neighbourhood square, and a green courtyard, it offers 91 owner occupied apartments and homes.
At its centre is a compact cultural house with a theatre, hospitality, and workspaces that functions as a local meeting place. As part of the Merwede transformation from business park to inner-city neighborhood, Cix Theatre will act as a cultural anchor and meeting place within this new urban district.
Development started in 2018, with completion expected in 2027.
